Perfectly positioned within Thorness Bay Holiday Park, Medina Rise Lodge offers the rare combination of tranquil surroundings and easy access to Cowes, Gurnard and the West Wight, all just a short drive away.



Coastal setting & beach walks

A footpath from the park leads directly to Thorness Bay beach, where you can enjoy long coastal walks along the pebbled shoreline, sea air, and spectacular sunsets over the Solent. This quieter stretch of coastline is ideal for peaceful beach days, evening strolls, and soaking up the slower pace of island life.

Several other beaches are less than a mile away, while Cowes and Gurnard offer sailing, waterfront dining, coastal paths and traditional seaside charm.

A modern family bathroom features a bath with shower over, ideal for relaxing after a day at the beach.

The Neighborhood:

Thorness Bay Holiday Park is set in stunning countryside surroundings, with the wonderful benefit of a two-mile beach moments from the lodges and facilities. Thorness Bay beach is a site of special scientific interest (SSSI) due to both its biological and geological features, with thriving wildlife not found in other areas of the United Kingdom, which makes Thorness Bsy that little bit more special.

Thorness offers something for everybody, weather you are just interested in relaxing on your deck taking in the wonderous daily birdsong, or a dip in the indoor pool, to an exhilarating sea swim and beach picnic. For the more energetic there are sports courts for football or basketball, and an adventure playground.

After a fun packed day, enjoy a tasty meal in the Boathouse Bar and Restaurant before a spot of evening entertainment.



Getting Around:

From Northwood take the left hand fork onto the B3325 Nodes Road, continue to the bend in the road, and turn left onto Pallance Road. Continue all the way down Pallance Road, at the mini roundabout takie the first exit onto Rew Street, follow the road around to the right onto Rolls Hill.



Take the right turn off Rolls Hill onto Thorness Lane and continue straight until you see Thorness Bay Holiday Park on your right.



Continue into the parking, the camping will be found on your left, Medina Rise can be found on your right-hand side. Turn into Medina Rise, turn right and No 7 can be found on your left hand side, last but one in the front row, the driveway is left of the lodge.
