Perfect for a Family 80th Birthday

A beautiful home, elegantly incorporating traditional with modern, with a huge kitchen/dining area and fine views over a field of grazing sheep. Everything was immaculate and fitted out to the highest quality. A standout house for my 80th birthday family celebration.

Stunning house

We have just returned from a fabulous weekend at Lower Standen Farm. Both the house and garden are beautiful, with stunning decor, fully equipped kitchen and very clean throughout. The pool was such a bonus with the glorious weather we had. This is our second visit here celebrating more big birthdays, we hope to come back again!

Amazing house in a fabulous location, perfect for a gathering of friends or family

What an amazing venue for a special occasion. The service and responsiveness of Lindsay and the Bloomstays Team was excellent. The house was beautifully furnished and the kitchen a fabulous space for a special gathering. The surrounding countryside provided us with wonderful views and walks. The local Woodcock Inn is also a great find for some delicious food and wonderful hospitality

Beautiful accommodation in rural setting for 18 adults

I booked a surprise weekend for my wife's 50th birthday & couldn't have been happier with the property. It ticked all of the boxes and had everything we needed for 18 of us. Being autumn the swimming poo was not available but would definitely be back in warmer times to take advantage of that. The beds were supper comfy and the water was extremely hot and in abundance. Communication with the property manager was seamless and instant. All in all this house had everything & more so couldn't fault anything

AMAZING !!

Lower Standen Farm is one of the most fantastic houses we have ever stayed in. It is perfect for large groups and has absolutely everything you would need including an incredibly well equipped kitchen. The garden is also gorgeous and the pool was so lovely too! We have already recommended the house to everyone and want to rebook for a winter weekend ourselves so that we can make use of the inside space as well!

We stayed at Lower Standen Farm to celebrate a special birthday with family for the weekend. The house and garden is absolutely stunning, it was spotlessly clean and is so well stocked it has everything you could ever need! We are hoping to return in warmer weather so we can use the pool!

Relaxing Weekend Stay

Beautiful comfortable home with all the mod cons. Stunning open plan kitchen with wonderful views of the garden and beyond. We enjoyed a log fire in the cosy living room and had a film night in the cinema room. Perfect for a winter weekend get away. Very quiet location and great for walks straight from the garden. Would definitely come again.

Fantastic weekend

We had an amazing weekend at this property. It was fantastically clean and the whole house was perfect for our get together of 18 friends. The garden and grounds were lovely and the pool was brilliant. The kitchen was well equipped and the living room area was lovely and cosy. Everything in the house was of high quality, from the bed linen to the towels. Our welcome pack was a lovely surprise and we were utterly spoiled.

lovely place, so much space and great for families. two tvs didn't work during our time, and one oven, and one of the gardens was flooded a bit so out of use. I think some discount would have been good to offer as couldn't fully use the property overall the place is very special and we had a good time

An amazing stay

Amazing stay in this very well decorated and spacious house where we felt at home ! Beautiful bedrooms and amazing kitchen with plenty of fridges, dishwashers, ... Everything is well conceived and the swimming pool and its house such a good size! We had a wonderful Time ! To say something, the swimming pool and the BBQ were not cleaned , (the agency very quickly sent someone to clean the pool) and the grass wasn't cut.. A bit cold in the granary..

Beautiful!!

We stayed out in Lower Standen Farm, and it is amazing! There were 18 of us and there was plenty of space! One of the best UK staycations we’ve had. The pool is heated and very spacious, the garden is perfect for any sports activities, and the home is well kept and beautiful! We had caterers in who had ample space to prepare and serve. Bloom Stays were incredibly helpful with any queries we had, and we are already looking at planning our next get together here! I would recommend this to anyone with a big family!

Perfect House for a large family gathering

This lovely house worked very well for our family of 15 adults and 4 toddlers/ babes. The main kitchen dining area was where we all gathered and there was plenty of room. The kitchen was very well equipped and we had memorable evenings at that long dining table. There was ample fridge/ freezer space for all the food and drink necessary for such a large party. The living area had enough seating to accommodate us all after dinner and was very cosy. The young ones loved the outdoor area with a few attractions such as the swing etc.

Lower Standen Farm

We recently stayed at a Bloom Stays property - Lower Standen Farm, for a long weekend to celebrate our wedding with our close family. The property is absolutely stunning and was beautifully clean and tidy when we arrived. The kitchen was particularly well equipped to cater for a large group and having 2 dishwashers was a luxury we didn't know we needed!The communication from Bloom Stays was excellent throughout the process. They gave us a great recommendation for a caterer who came in and cooked a bbq for us all which was just perfect.We also managed to arrange to drop some things off at the property the evening before our booking which made our actual wedding day go much more smoothly without worrying about doing multiple trips.We had beautiful weather over the weekend which meant we were able to make full use of the lovely garden and surprisingly warm swimming pool.We will certainly look to book with Bloom Stays again in the future.Thank you.

Lower Standen Farm

The property was beautifully appointed and very well equipped. My only negative comments would be that in some areas the property was showing its age ie. the pool was tired and full of leaves as the cover is ripped in parts, the smaller barn was dated with some of the electrics and sockets coming away from the wall and not particularly safe and in some areas lamps were not working. However the location and outlook were superb and made up for any niggles. One instruction that could be made clearer is the door access on entry - ie. the key pad that took us ages to work out where it was!

The most wonderful weekend

This property is just amazing. Full of character and charm and so very well suited to the large group that we were. From under 2’s to grandparents in their 80’s, it was spot on Offering high chairs, potty’s, travel cots and plastic child friendly plates etc, as well as swings and garden toys, our great niece and nephew were very well catered for The house is full of nooks and crannies, so it was easy to find a quiet spot to sit and read or have forty winks! And what can we say about that fabulous kitchen? Drawer after drawer and cupboard after cupboard of gadgets and everything you’d ever need to cater for large groups Honestly, we’ve had the best weekend! Beautiful stay in a stunning country house

We had a wonderful stay at Lower Standen Farm. The house looks even better in pictures and has ample space for larger parties. Everything is in great condition. The kitchen is a dream, it has everything you could think to need and makes for a great social space. The house is perfect for good weather but also makes for a cozy retreat when the weather is not playing along. We also loved the view to the sheep field every evening, it was stunning. We would highly recommend Lower Standen Farm for large families and will be back to Kent soon. Feedback for improvement: Some of the pool furniture is in shabby condition and rusty nails were sticking out making it dangerous to sit and relax on. The pool area has a lot of potential, but as it is today it didn't meet the standard of the rest of the house. We would recommend adding polsterting to the pool furniture otherwise guests are lying on hard wood. This would be an easy thing to add that would make a big difference to guests enjoying the pool.

Just wow!!

What an amazing house!! We stayed for a friends 40th and it was perfect. Amazing entertaining space and all of the bedrooms were beautiful. We had 9 couple in our group and some rooms are better than others if you have couple staying as not all rooms have a double bed (some have 2 singles) Saying that it’s a place to lay your head and this house is just incredible. Great customer services from the team at Blooms constantly keeping me updated. We will definitely be back! Would recommend over and over again!

Perfect house
