« I left my mobile phone behind it took 9 days to get it back despite sending self addressed envelope with pre paid postage. They would not take it to a post box / office. Getting in touch by phone is extremely difficult. Shame as the Lodge was well appointed and in a nice setting. We had no hot water on first evening and it took 45 mins after reporting for someone to come. I gad to walk up to reception before it was fixed. I eoykd not use Parkdean resorts agsain! »

« 4 night mid week break in the Easter holidays. We booked with a special offer so was a reasonable price for school holidays. The lodge is in a lovely area of the park near to the lake. « The caravan is on a very clean delightful site. You are in the lakes but feel like you are on a beach holiday, so best of both worlds. Nice plot near the Children's park. Tidy caravan with everything you need. Met the staff on site, very helpful. Gorgeous homemade ice cream hut near the beach and has its own bar with entertainment. Owner excellent with communication, everything you need for a family holiday. All you need in Millom including Tesco's and eateries. Food deliveries even to caravan....

« We had a great week’s stay at Swallows Lodge with our cocker spaniel. Plenty of communication prior to our arrival made it easy to find and access, the property is spacious (especially so for just two of us!) and well laid out. The full kitchen had everything you'd need, the property was spotlessly clean and modern, and the bed big and comfortable.
