„We stopped here for 4 nights. The bedrooms were clean and fairly comfortable. There isn't much near by. 1 shop and 1 cafe in walking distance. But plenty of places within driving distance. Ravenglass and muncaster castle about a 15 minuute ride. Haverthwaite and lakeside are about 50 minutes away and very nice places to visit. The car park at the back of the property is good. „The home was perfect for what we were looking for, which was just a home base to relax in and visit with family in the area. It has easy access to the rail station, grocery store, and downtown shopping and dining. The kitchen supplies were basic, but enough to put together some simple meals after a trip to the grocery store. The beds were very comfortable.
