« Cottage was clean cosy and comfortable. It is about 15 mins drive to castle douglas. Owners live next door so easy to contact with minor issues. We were familiar with local area as visited frequently before. »

« Good property in a great location, excellent grounds and access to the beach which the dogs loved. Good quality kitchen , just missing a small welcome pack which we normally have when we go for a cottage stay, its always useful. Bedrooms were a bit basic and didn’t like not having a full shower, some small details need to be looked at, curtains in lounge with mis- matched or broken curtain rings. Overall we had a great stay in a lovely part of Scotland. »

« Excellent property. Great gardens for the kids to explore and very nice walk to the beach. We walked along the beach to the local pub than back along the farm road. We are planning on returning next year. »

« Lovely above stable flat. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the countryside but only 10 mins drive from nearest town. Very warm with wood burning stove and central heating.Well equipped and very comfortable »
