« My husband and I stayed for three nights at Longacre. The owner is very kind. The house is spacious, but I did find it to be a little dated. We stayed in the manor room which was very big but seems like it was decorated from the early 90s. Also, there was no option to lower the temperature in the room, so I had to use a fan from the closet to try to cool the room down. The grounds behind the house are beautiful and peaceful. »

« Nous avons été bien accueilli dans ce motel super 8. Plutôt bas de gamme et l'extérieur est pas terrible mais les chambres sont propres et confortables. Beaucoup d'ouvriers lorsque nous sommes passés. Pas de bruit la nuit mais départ des ouvriers le matin. Le petit déjeuner était basique et il ne restait plus grand chose à manger. Bien situé pour visiter les sites de la guerre civile et motel pas cher. »

« We spend two wonderful days. The room was clean, really nice and unique. All the available rooms are open so you can enjoy and see all the different decoration. Bed was super confortable, local and very nice toiletries available in the room and hostess so welcoming and available. Then you go to breakfast in the morning and you definitely say that you will be back! It was gorgeous, made with fresh products and so well prepared. We also dine one night there and diner was as good and well prepared...

« This is such a unique and beautiful property! You will enjoy the majestic views with your morning coffee.! The sunsets are spectacular! Close to Lynchburg, Bedford, historic sites in Appomattox and lots of great hikes! Perfect for an event or wedding as well! We just stayed for graduation weekend but now we know of a beautiful event location for the future! Beds are so comfortable! Kitchen well equipped! Host is so responsive and kind! 10/10 recommend! »

« This is a gorgeous home full of character. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and temperature control in each room was awesome. The WiFi works great, and the amount of room in the house was perfect. This house has the coolest retro game room down stares, and on sight running creek. Just minutes away from the house are all of the coolest historical things. The well lit patio at night is a beautiful and calm way to end the day next to the hot tub. This is a very highly recommended property. »

« Our stay was amazing! Such a beautiful place in an unexpected location of VA. We stayed here as a place to prep and get ready for our wedding and our host was very accommodating to our needs. They helped us with storage of our wedding food and parking for our bridal party when getting ready. The downstairs apartment was cozy and more spacious than the photos make it seem. Their back yard and the creek was such a beautiful setting for our bridal photos and make it feel really special. Thank you...
