« Beautiful renovated boutique hotel right in the hub of Farmville. Spacious room, wonderful shower and bath, and a sweet breakfast. Staff was very helpful and the rooftop view of the city was fantastic! Saw the sunset and the moon rise. Great place to land after cycling the High Bridge Trail and we got on the trail right near the hotel. »

« We found a cockroach in the hotel washroom, We felt uncomfortable staying there and had to move to another hotel, causing unnecessary stress and inconvenience. Very disappointing experience. »

« Nous avons été bien accueilli dans ce motel super 8. Plutôt bas de gamme et l'extérieur est pas terrible mais les chambres sont propres et confortables. Beaucoup d'ouvriers lorsque nous sommes passés. Pas de bruit la nuit mais départ des ouvriers le matin. Le petit déjeuner était basique et il ne restait plus grand chose à manger. Bien situé pour visiter les sites de la guerre civile et motel pas cher. »

« Property surrounding house is lovely. We were drawn to the pet friendly aspect and the B&B atmosphere. House itself is smaller than it looks in photo. Everything was clean but interior looks tired. Our bathroom in Magnolia Room had peeling paint and tub didn't hold water. Continental breakfast was adequate but compared to breakfasts at other B&Bs, it was unremarkable. B&B located close to downtown and within easy drive to Appomattox Courthouse National Park. »

« I’m going to start off with saying The manor is beautiful. I found this gem kinda last minute and I’m glad I did. It is very clean, quiet and I felt mostly like I had it to myself. There were other guests who were staying but unless if I seen their vehicle or faintly heard them when I went to the Bathroom, I’d have never known. « Bel hôtel, belle chambre lit confortable,, petit frigo pratique. Endroit très calme à 5 min en voiture de la belle Historic Main street. 10 min à aller a la High Bridge Trail mais 20 min au retour en vélo car il y a une très grosse côte à monter!! On est au centre de la Trail on a fait la moitié aller/retour une journée et l’autre moitié le lendemain. »

« We spend two wonderful days. The room was clean, really nice and unique. All the available rooms are open so you can enjoy and see all the different decoration. Bed was super confortable, local and very nice toiletries available in the room and hostess so welcoming and available.
