« Beautiful property- the garden and firepit areas were lovely. It was very secluded but still a quick 4-ish minute drive to a dollar store, and 15-20 minutes to downtown Asheville. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Thanks for having us!! »

« The Great Aspen Chateau was a great place for a large family gathering. We had 12 adults, a teenager, a 3year old and an infant with plenty of beds and comfortable space for everyone. « Fantastic property and accommodating, very nice, and flexible hosts. The fire pit and back porch areas were the family favorites. The surrounding trees are beautiful. Only minor notes are that it is really 3 bedrooms, one with an attached sleeping bunk loft. While there are other sleeping areas in the house, they aren’t true bedrooms. The road in was also a bit of a surprise as it is a bumpy gravel road, we were ok with this, but one family member had a nicer sedan that they were nervous about...

« Peaceful serene, alpha waves from the nearby ford waterfalls over the access road was quite pleasant from the side wooden porch. Saw Black bears 4 out of 6 days we stayed. Jacuzzi on the side porch made for many nice times and a great vacation. »

« What a fantastic place! The layout was amazing and was very well stocked with quality furnishings, kitchen and bath items. We loved sitting on the deck just watching the various clouds, scenery and wildlife. Having the bird feeders was great, getting to just sit and watch the various birds was so relaxing.
