« This was our overnight stay prior to entering the BWCA the next morning. We arrived fairly late and check in could not have been smoother. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was a tad small but usable. The room itself was larger than most. The included breakfast was great. Many choices and the never ran out of anything. We would definitely stay their again. »

« Our room was on the third floor, which offered an amazing view of the lake - exactly what we were hoping for! You do not want to miss the sunrise in the mornings from the balcony! :) We’ve been to some places where the kitchen has little to offer for appliances and simple meal prep- this place exceeded our expectations and the ice maker in the fridge was appreciated. « We loved our hotel. The view and location were wonderful! The room was lovely and clean. The fireplace was a nice touch. Bed was comfy as well. We look forward to coming back. »

« All the staff were friendly, courteous & knowledgeable. The room was very nice with plentiful parking. We didn’t use all the amenities but they had a few that most others don’t. Definitely enjoyed our stay & will return next time we’re on the North Shore »

« Pros: Its on the lake. The manager is VERY helpful and friendly
Cons: Its OLD. Screens missing in windows, the king bed was literraly 2 twin or double beds pushed together and we sank to the middle of the bed.
The showers were impossible to get pressure or temperature right.
The ice machine is a small office or home version.
The doors were not straight, could see light right through them.
The smell of Lysol and/or Clorex in the hallways was overwhelming.
