„It’s a standard motel in a small town about 25-30 miles away from Route 66. We were looking to see a bit more of countryside instead of driving the interstate and we found it. The town is made up of about ten streets and has maybe a population of 4000. I guess the nearby prison provides the town with jobs. The room and furniture were older. It was ok for a nights stay.“

„We chose to stay here again because of the kindness we experienced last year. During a road trip, our car broke down in Rolla and we unexpectedly ended up stranded for three days. Even though the pool was closed for repairs at the time, the motel was affordable, clean, and the staff—and honestly the entire town—made a stressful situation so much easier with their kindness. „The room we got didn’t even have a number on the door 👀 ceiling was sagging so bad I thought it would cave in. Tub was angled towards the wall and the drain excessively someone with bad balance will be breaking their neck lol. Definitely doesn’t match the photos they have posted.“

„The property was unkept outside. The inside was so-so. We had to wear our socks as the floors were kind of dirty. There were moldy blueberries left in the garbage can which attracted the bugs. We did have a small dog which was allowed -the reason we selected this place. The front desk person was very nice.“

„This property is gorgeous. I thought I’d really dislike the portopotty but it was relatively clean. Funny enough it was the only place I could get cell reception We brought our 10 year old and he was excited to roam the rolling hills and creek. Next time we’ll be back for a more romantic stay. The air conditioner made it very cool. It was about a 25 minute drive into town. Wish we could have stayed longer!“

When my husband tried to get out of the car 6 or 7 dogs big and small and 1 two legged goat approached the car. They were barking and acted aggressively and did not react to his nice coaxing hoping they would let him pet them.
