„Wir hatten ausdrücklich ein Non-Smoking Zimmer gewünscht. Dieses wurde uns auch zugewiesen, jedoch war ganz deutlich, dass stark in diesem Zimmer geraucht wurde. Der Geruch war für uns kaum zu ertragen. Es gibt Mittel und Wege, durchzusetzen, dass in Zimmern nicht geraucht wird, z.B. angedrohte Reinigungskosten. Ein alternatives Zimmer war nicht verfügbar. Beim Frühstück hat die Waffel Maschine einiges herausgerissen. Ansonsten muss man mit Papp-/ Plastikgeschirr leben. “

„I can think of nothing to dislike about this extraordinary property. Beautiful, manicured lawns and gardens offering beautiful vistas and pathways. The main lodge and rooms are so beautifully decorated and the atrium and dining room are spectacular as is the food. Enjoyed sitting at the bar with a nice glass of wine and chatting with the knowledgeable, nice, young bartender. Staff is friendly and helpful all leading the visitor to a special experience.“

„This was the nicest room we stayed in on our week long road trip. The room was really lovely!! The bed was the most comfortable. The bathroom was great; very updated, sparkling clean, fabulous tub, excellent shower. We were so happy. The French door had a view outside to the green rolling hills and barn. „Pros: The property itself is visually very nice and has a lot of potential. Cons: The lack of modernization is starting to show. My biggest concern was the lighting; many areas of the property are quite dark at night, which felt like a significant safety issue. Additionally, be prepared for a lot of stairs. If you have heavy luggage or mobility concerns, navigating the layout is difficult. Bottom Line: It’s a lovely setting, but it really needs an upgrade in terms of lighting and accessibility ...

„Initially when we reviewed the pictures of this property it really looked good! The packing lot area looked very clean and the picture of the bedroom looked nice! But once we walked into our room # 109 it was a total disaster! The room has a closed up / mold smell and the carpet is very dirty, both of the windows curtains didn’t close properly and there is a cold air draft along the floor area, I did notice form along the entire baseboard area of the room.
