« We stayed in one of the small cabins. The cabin was just as described on the website and in the photos. The bed was comfortable. The porch on the front of Cabin was nice. We enjoyed watching the sunset over the lake. We ate both nights at the restaurant. The food was the best we have had in a long time, with very fresh ingredients and all the staff were friendly. They went above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The service was exceptional with several extra nice touches We will be back . »

« The Balsam is located in a scenic spot in the southern Adirondacks where, due to the remoteness and the topography, there is no cell service but there is WiFi at the lodge. « Great spot for a relaxing weekend! The room was clean, cozy, and what looked like recent nice updates done. The adjustable beds were a very pleasant surprise which our bodies appreciated.
