« The room was very clean and in good condition. I would not stay here again, however. No microwave to heat up a cup of coffee, only one three-pronged outlet. A very small fan that made an unpleasant sound (no air conditioning - which is fine with me, but would have liked a better fan). « It was a real treat to stay at the Balsam Inn! The Inn is off the beaten path like I wanted and very very quite. Jenny is a warm welcoming host. She even upgraded my room just because it was available. The room itself was beautiful! It felt like I was a guest in someones Adirondack mountain home. « Check in was easy. The location was good for our trip. »

« The property had been cleaned and was in reasonably good condition. There was an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke that really detracted from the positives. This was surprising because it was listed as a nonsmoking property. If you don’t mind the smell of cigarettes, then this is an economical and convenient place to spend the night. »

« A cozy little cabin in the Adirondacks! It was a great base for our explorations, and a lovely place to rest when we weren't adventuring! The wooden ADK chairs on the sunny porch and relaxing hammock were favorite spots! Touches like having games, walking sticks, and even a guitar available made it feel like home. Our host was responsive with communication, and all the information and suggestions throughout were very thoughtful. Will keep this on our list of favorites! »

« Our stay was amazing. We just needed a quick weekend away, spur of the moment, and Lenny (owner) went above and beyond to help us enjoy every second. Clean, spacious, and relaxing. « This was a nice place to stay for a brief, overnight stay. It was conveniently located in the heart of town and just a stone's throw away from the beautiful Long Lake. The room was a little basic but it did have a super refreshing shower. Would stay again because of the nice staff & convenience factor. »
