« This is a great cabin to enjoy the lake and the beautiful scenery! We kayaked each day that we were there which was made easy by utilizing the dock. We enjoyed the porch in the evenings eating our dinner and enjoying the beauty of the lake and mountains in a peaceful setting. It was an easy drive to Boone where we went one evening for dinner. The cabin was clean and had all of the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay. »

« Everything was amazing! The beds were so comfortable. I love to cook when I’m on vacation and found a fully stocked kitchen, including a waffle maker. Nothing was missing. The host was so kind and even made suggestions for activities. The internet is superb!! We came back home, well rested and revitalized. »

« Beautiful setting. The cabin is clean, fluffy fresh towels, comfortable bed, full kitchen, perfect hot tub. And on the lake but it is a steep ramp down to the lake, at least in July it was. Very quiet area and we were able to dock our jet skis at the dock. Go to the grocery store before you get here!! It's a long drive to the grocery store! We had no cell coverage here, but the WiFi worked well. Bring shampoo and conditioner, and mostly cook in. Cute restaurant called the Goat House not too far...

« Perfect little piece of heaven on Watauga Lake. The tiny house was quite frankly perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The view of the lake was great being high on the hill overlooking the lake. Having the option for renting a boat on property bonus!! « Loved that it was a log cabin, cozy but big enough for our group of eleven. The landlord calls it their "little piece of heaven" and it was. The Christmas decorations gave the perfect holiday touch to the comfy decor., making it perfect for our family Christmas . Its in a wooded area near the top of the mountain, yet only a short drive to stores and local attractions. The landlord was quick to respond when we had a question or a problem. »

« Beautiful view from the back deck. This part of the lake is peaceful and beautiful! The rental was well equipped and stocked. A few minor things needed repair or replacement, and the host said she would attend to all those. The 2 kayaks are quite small for some adults. We found things as pictured/described. »

« This house is awesome! Full of character…. You could walk into a room 5 times and the 6th time you’ll notice something else as far as decoration and/or construction. We stayed in July of 26 when most area lakes were very low, this one included, so we weren’t able to use the boat slip, however Tom referred us to the neighboring subdivision who not only allowed us to use their boat slip, but they allowed us to store our boat trailer there for a one time fee.
