« Definitely worth the stay. Have no complaints about our weekend. »

« We were there to celebrate my son’s 15th birthday! We enjoyed everything in the surrounding areas. We had an issue with our washer and they fixed our issue the next day! We will definitely be back! »

« I will start with my only negative on this home. The driveway is very small. We had our Ram truck and it fit under the covered parking area. But a bigger vehicle might not fit. That's it. Everything else was so good. The house had multiple reminder notes around it. Which I find very helpful. The kids and I loved every well placed detail. The toy closet was a huge hit. We're hoping to book this home again in the future. »

« Great place and great location. This was our second stay at Riverbend Retreat and it was as good as our first. »

« The cabin was as described, was clean and well-equipped. Only negative, and it was not the fault of the property, was that there was a lot of work being done on the river which caused it to be quite silted while we were there. We made the best of it though and enjoyed the visit. »

« The location on top of the mountain provided spectacular views and cool mornings even in July. I would suggest putting a medium sized skillet in the house to use with the convection hot plate. The fridge may need checking also. It took most of three days to cool down. Overall this is a great rental which I think was an outstanding value. I would definately stay here again. »

« I stayed for a couple nights for my birthday. Wanted something secluded and small. This was a perfect little cabin that fit the bill. Cool place with a creek right next to it and a little fire pit. Could definitely go back again »

« It was perfect. It’s conveniently located near Banner Elk restaurants and the park, as well as other activities. Decorated in a welcoming mountain style with lots of bear accents, it had everything we needed. My husband and I had a relaxing visit and plan to return. Lisa (the owner) was a great communicator and made me feel like we were already friends! »
