« Upon arrival the property side did not appear very inviting. The area seemed pretty sketchy with a bar on site and some rowdy people outside. As a female, I would not of wanted to stay by myself.However, it was after dark. First impression of the room was dark and dreary. Not updated and very old. « I was travelling so just needed a room for the night. A busload of teenagers arrived just before me. Staff was very efficient and I had a very brief wait to check in. Room was clean. I didn't eat breakfast due to all of the teenagers in line (not the hotel's fault). There appeared to be plenty of food. »

« Very clean quaint property. Our room was situated overlooking a busy 4-way stop which made it a bit loud for sleeping when the trucks with loud mufflers rolled through but rested well just the same. Recommend this property for those looking for a quaint historic stay within walking distance to the Mighty Mississippi! »

« Beautiful place for a family gathering! The kitchen had everything we needed for our meals. The host was kind and welcoming, and the unique historic home was grand and comfortable, with a lot of things for the youngsters to marvel at! We’ll be returning soon! »
