„Clean, comfortable and easy access to events.“

„The room and property were very clean and updated. The evening was very quiet and we slept well! I would stay here again!“

„The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property itself is poorly maintained and dirty. Our room smelled musty and not entirely cleaned before use.“

„A few years ago this property was okay - a decent hotel for the money. It has since gone downhill, and this will be our last visit. Our room this weekend smelled so horrible! All our clothes had to be washed twice to get rid of the smell. Tried to open the window to get some fresh air and the screen was missing, so that wasn't an option. Additionally, the toilet ran constantly, the deadbolt didn't work, and the swing bar lock had been removed. Never again!“

„For a quick stay in Ames it's perfect. I was concerned initially because of the ratings, but gave it a chance anyway. The staff I came in contact with were welcoming and helpful! The front desk gentleman was very attentive and friendly! There was a lady that worked the breakfast stations (I didn't catch her name) she was absolutely wonderful, personable and sweet. The rooms were very simple (not fancy), but clean (and I look at everything!!!) As a single female traveler I felt very safe there. ...

„Great location and very clean“

„Room was clean. Problem with electric for fridge, microwave, outlets in that part of room. Pool was out of order. Staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast was okay, plenty of options. Parking was close.“

„Super clean. Friendly staff and a good breakfast!“

„Nice spacious room and a good breakfast.“

„Ob Pub, Steakhaus oder Brewpub alles ist zu Fuss zu erledigen. Einkaufen bei Walmart oder andere Kleinigkeiten - alles vorhanden. Tolle Location zwischen Kansas City und Minneapolis, für alle die nicht durchfahren wollen!“

„Room was clean“

„Ich fand den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm, zum einen durch die menschliche Nähe zur Rezeption (Anne), die evtl. Fragen und Probleme engagiert und zielstrebig bearbeitete, und zur Küche (Swetlana), die alles tat, um den Frühstückspräferenzen der internationalen Gästen zu entsprechen, zum anderen durch die räumliche Nähe zum Campus und zur Stadt Ames.“

„I noted that the smoke alarm was missing from the room, just wires dangling from the ceiling. The management seems well intentioned but overwhelmed. I thought there was supposed to be a breakfast offered, but didn’t track it down. Outside of the building was not well cared for. I WAS allowed to check in early and I was grateful!! As noted before, no fire alarm in the room.“
