„Stayed here about 4 years ago and the place was okay then. Clean a little dated look, okay condition and affordable. Now still affordable however that is it. You can tell no updates have happened. Paint is peeling in the bathroom, there is a smell of old smoke in the hallways, the bathroom door did not close and the front staff did not help much. It was indicated that coffee was available in the morning in the front lobby area but never had any available during our stay.“

„Welcoming, friendly staff, breakfast was nice, tasty waffles, typical continental breakfast. Room was clean and well staffed. Parking close to front entrance, easy access. Room was a bit stuffy but not offensive.“

„Great place for families. We enjoyed our stay and the property had lots for us to do. The host was very responsive to anything we needed. One note: you will need a heavy vehicle to get up and down the driveway as it’s got some deep ruts and wouldn’t be good to do in a small car. The town of Fergus is lots of fun and everyone is so friendly. We’d definitely stay again.“

„This place is absolutely gorgeous and truly charming. Sophie was more than helpful and friendly the few times we bumped into her on the property. Her attention to detail with the binder left in the kitchen that shares the history of the town, property, and how she ended up in Elora was so wonderful - we tried at least half of the restaurant/cafe suggestions she had left in the binder as well, and none disappointed! Would go back in a heartbeat, and felt like we had the true Elora experience. If ...

„It was lovely being on the river, watching the wildlife (ducks, geese, people floating by in inner tubes and even a young man fly fishing)! Our host, Kamal, made us feel very comfortable, knowing that we could contact him anytime.“

„The location was excellent, the accommodation was lovely and tastefully decorated and the attention to detail by the host is second to none. That said, the ceiling fan, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long while and the floors were filthy. The floors did not look dirty but my feet told me differently. I was surprised because everything else was lovely.“
