« We have just returned from a couple of nights at Brewers Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and bigger than it seems from the photos. Foolow is convenient access to some lovely areas and walks in the Peak District, and just a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage is the local pub that does fabulous food and has very friendly staff. « Property said pet friendly but when you got there said no dogs upstairs, not good when you have a dog with separation anxiety. Didn't find out until che k in details came through that there was no parking on the street the house is on. House was dirty. Tried to use hoover, it was totally blocked and not usable, had a broom but no dustpan so couldn't even do any cleaning of floors while there. »

« We stayed a couple of nights. The cottage was comfortable and clean. Wi-Fi was excellent. Cell coverage was patchy but that was no surprise as we had been warned about this. I am 6'7" and did have trouble with the low doorways on occasion - especially when returning from the excellent pub just down the road.Be aware that one of the bedrooms is only accessible through the other bedroom - so if you want a little privacy that may be an issue. Overall, a quaint cottage in the middle of stunning...
