« Nous avons énormément apprécié ce séjour dans cet hôtel SPA historique de la merveilleuse ville de Buxton. Tout était parfait. La chambre était très confortable, très bien équipée. La partie SPA est très vaste avec 3 bassins dont un a un accès extérieur, 3 saunas différents, un haman. Enfin le petit déjeuner continental et/ou anglais est excellent. Nous recommandons fortement cet établissement. »

« Bon restaurant, chambre agréable, dommage que le jacuzzi soit payant »

« Room was filthy, dust, dirt and cobwebs. Bathroom smelt like poo. Sink leaked. Entire room smelt of damp. Bed atrocious. The pillows were flat as pancakes and very old. Fridge didn't work. Staff friendly. »

« Le spa est excellent, moderne, propre et agréable. La chambre bien mais sans plus, le restaurant bon, un peu cher mais le decor est super. »

« Friendly staff and the afternoon tea was delicious Some of the things in our room could do with being repaired and maybe a new mattress but overall it was a pleasant stay »

« Pleasant stay …very good room…helpful staff……think could upgrade non cooked breakfast options a little …not too onerous to offer good bread, jams or yoghurt or fruit but evening meals good »

« Excellent stay, really comfortable room with helpful staff. Restaurant was a gastronomic experience and I lived it. »

« I really enjoyed our stay at the lodge and overall we had a very good experience. The inside was above our expectations. The rooms were newly refurbished, clean and comfortable, and the kitchen and dining areas were also really nicely done. The beds were comfortable and everything felt fresh and well looked after. The caretaker was extremely helpful and supportive throughout our stay, and we received really good customer service, which made us feel very welcome. There are just a couple of...

« Très compliqué comme une fournaise la chambre pas réussi à dormir »

« Will not be returning, staff not helpful at all, dog friendly but couldn’t even let the dog have a sausage at breakfast as they had ran out, they had also ran out of biscuits for the room, garden peas and orange juice. Not a cheap nights stay so these things should not be running out!! Best staff were the morning we were leaving, had they had been on all weekend it would have made it a more pleasant stay »

« Good location Excellent accommodation Staff helpful »

« The Pilsley Inn is the quintessential English country side experience. The room was thoughtfully appointed and way bigger than expected. Cozy bed, nice linens and thoughtful touches everywhere. The staff were delightful, each and every one of them. And the food…omg, the food! So good! We wish we booked more than one night! »

« The welcome we received at the Dog and Partridge from David was excellent. We were quickly booked in and directed to our accommodation. A good feature was that our vehicles were able to be parked close to the room. The room was clean, well maintained and perfectly satisfactory. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was served without undue delay and was adequate and nourishing. Local Alton beer, which was available at the bar went down a treat. After a sound sleep, and shower we had...
