„One night stay was good for what we needed just very dusty , cobwebs everywhere , dust in the air vent in the bathroom , cracks and screws hanging out. Would stay again as the room is adequate just needs abit of a clean. “

„A very friendly and accommodating hotel. We loved staying at this place for 3 nights. The only downside was that on the last morning they did take away the breakfast menu selection without a reason. Then on our way out of the restaurant we noticed that some had been given a choice from the menu. Overall a great hotel though.“

„Spotlessly clean and extremely well-equipped for such a small property. Hosts were really friendly, welcoming and helpful, explaining the best route to where I needed to go. Bed was very comfortable and the property had its own heating system that could be controlled by the guest for their ideal temperature. Very well-insulated - property stayed warm all day while I was out with the heating turned to minimum. Only a short distance to filling station up or down the road it's on, plenty of ...

„Lovely, cosy pub hotel. Great food with a choice of menus, ranging from the tasting menu to simple (but very well done) pub fayre. We chose from the pub menu, special mention to the fish and chips, perfect! Accompanied by a good choice of drinks, with beer from the local Thornbridge brewery. Very handy spot for local attractions. We stayed for one night on a mini-break and the room was perfect. Lovely bedroom decoration, nicely fitted out bathroom with a decent sized bath and rainfall ...

„This hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Chesterfield near shops, the Market, restaurants and pubs. All members of staff are friendly, helpful and very pleasant. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We very much enjoyed the varied breakfast buffet with excellent coffee ‘on tap’ and dined in the simple but delicious in house restaurant nearly every night. They have a decent Happy Hour in their small bar too. We shall be returning to this hotel on our next visit to Chesterfield “
