« A lovely hotel which we will use again when visiting the Lake District. The staff are super friendly and helpful, especially Michael, who was always ready with recommendations and advice. « I chose a more budget room, so my view wasnt very nice and overlooked by other rooms (the garden is lovely so maybe consider upgrading to a garden view). However, the room was large, well maintained and I didnt notice any significant cleanliness issues. Bathroom had plenty of surface space for toiletries. The car park can get quite full if an event is on. Food and drinks I thought a little pricey (large glass of wine and a burger £37). Pool was nice and lots of gym equipment. »

« Très bel accueil. Idéal en étape. Lit reposant avant la route. Petit déjeuner varié champignons rosti oeufs haricots tartines etc »

« Lovely one night stay at the hotel. Really impressed with the room, lovely view and loved that we had a bath too. The grounds around the property are stunning. The view from breakfast was delightful. Parking was a squeeze, we were lucky to get a space. Would have preferred if the bar/lounge stayed open for the evening but other than that a great stay! »

« Personne très agréable qui explique en détail l histoire du château. Lieux historique majestueux qui a traversé 8 siècles. Restauration de très bonne qualité. Très gentil avec les enfants. En bref un endroit que je recommande vivement »

« En general bien mais les tapis mur à mur son sales. Notre chambre donnait sur la facade et le traffic est bruyant, impossible d'ouvrir les fenetres qui sont barrees. »
