„The lady at the reception when checking-in could not speak English and she was not friendly, thanks to the gentleman (forgot his name) who came to our rescue. Day stuff were so friendly and they could speak different languages. I believe after the renovations the hotel will be superb. Not forgetting the security guys, I thank them from the bottom of my heart, they were so helpful and they even washed my car.“

„Very friendly and helpful staff“

„As a first time visitor to Maputo I enjoyed the location which has many points of interest within walking distance or a short cab ride away. The hotel is new, with really spacious and well furnished rooms (awesome bed/mattress!!!) and it is overall very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and a good enough selection. No complaints at all. I will definitely come back!!“

„Wir hatten eigentlich das Radisson Blu für die erste und letzte Nacht einer zehntägigen Mozambiquereise gebucht. Leider war das Hotel immer noch nicht offen. Hotels.com hat uns erst zwei Tage vorher per email informiert, dass wir als Alternative ins Avenida Hotel gehen müssen. Wir waren im Afrikanischen Bush. Nur per Zufall habe ich diese Mail lesen können. Was für Troubles hätten wir gehabt, wenn wir im Radisson Blu erschienen wären und am späten Abend noch ein Hotel hätten suchen müssen.“

„Estrutura excelente, cama super confortável! Acho que o ponto alto foi o atendimento dos funcionários - muito atenciosos e prontos pra apoiar em qualquer situação. Café da manhã delicioso e pratos do restaurante também. Área da piscina muito boa, academia também. Acho que a única coisa que poderia melhorar é o sinal do wifi. Em algumas partes do quarto pegava bem, mas em outras, pra fazer reuniões de trabalho, falhava um pouquinho.“

Privat würde ich das Hoter sicherlich nicht nutzen, dafür ist es zu wenig authentisch. Es könnte überall auf der Welt stehen. Die Aussicht aufs Meer und der Pool sind sehr schön. „The Katebe Gallery was an amazing place to stay. Right on the beach with a beautiful view of Maputo. The staff are top tier and very friendly and helpful. Only downside (if you could call it that) is that the area is very quiet with not much going on in the evening- and everything requires a taxi across the bridge “
