« The room was clean, well designed and very comfortable. A soap dish would have been useful for the soap that was on offer to use. The heated towel rail is a necessity but not particularly well placed above the toilet (although I could not see another suitable place for it). The hotel was under renovation at the time. The builders were polite and considerate and any noise (not much during our stay) ceased at 5pm, as promised. We had a wonderful time and stayed an extra night on the strength of...

« 4 night long weekend over Valentine's for my wife and I. Our third stay in six months. Hotel fantastic as always. The reception team, the restaurant and Bar Staff as courteous, polite and friendly as always. Special mentions to Zoe on Reception and Constantine in bars. Thank you for making the stay special. »

« Too expensive for what you get.
It looks like they have started the refurbishment and have stopped in the middle. The bathroom was old and dingy and could do with some cleaning. The breakfast was poor.
The lady at reception didn't explain anything (for instance, how do you get to the spa). There were literally no signs in the whole hotel (no signs to reception, for room numbers, to the lift...). Get by by yourself!
The seaviews from the room were excellent. »

« Easy walking distance to town centre and bus station. On street carparking was ok using the permit provided. Nearby bakery and deli provided a great alternative to the Sainsbury local store. »
