« Clean and comfortable room, decent breakfast, reception staff very helpful. It was possible to switch off heating / air conditioning . Easy walking distance in to town centre. No restaurant meals, just snacks Dirty front steps give a poor first impression. »

« The jacuzzi in the spa was unfortunately not working. Our room had two showers (one over bath and one separate) but both had very poor pressure with the water just trickling out. The large air duct outside the bedroom window was very noisy and woke us up very early. There was a flickering bulb in the bathroom causing eye disturbance for me. »

« bien mais literie usée ! »

« Good food and excellent service. »

« The room was clean and warm, clean comfortable bed and with plenty of hot water in the shower. My only quibble would be that after my stay I had the whole day to spend in Scarborough and would have really appreciated a safe luggage room at the hotel. It meant I had to cart my overnight bag around with me which rather hampered my movement. On the other hand, the view from the terrace is spectacular and the hotel is slap bang next to the Tramway cars down to beach level. Which was nice. »

« In spite of some very lovely staff, this hotel is in an appalling state and desperately need of a facelift. Water damage on the walls, peeling paint, leaking toilets, a broken shower and windows that haven’t been cleaned in years. The owners need to spend a lot of money on this establishment that must have been spectacular in the past, as neither it or the staff deserve it being left in this state. »

« It was very convenient. The room was correct. »

« Be more clear on Parkin arrangements yes and limits of room equipment. Room too stuffy »

« Nice clean room and staff were fantastic and very helpful »
