„I have read other people's comments before I booked this motel. Usually I a) think people overestimate what they'll get for that price (after all this is no Hilton) and b) I don't leave reviews. In this case I just had to. First, I didnt find the motel as their sign says "Extended Stay" in large bold letters and then below it says in small letters "Laplace Motel". There is no lobby, just an outside window where you check in. The room itself was clean - however the furniture was absolutely run ...

„Wir buchten ein Doppelzimmer mit Quens Bett, erhielten aber ein etwas groesseres Zimmer mit Kingsize Bett ohne Aufpreis. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt fuer einen Besuch des French Quarters. Das Zimmer war sehr schoen, wenn auch das Fenster in einen Hinterhofschacht zeigte. Das Fruehstueck war fuer amerikanische Verhaeltnisse und deutschen Geschmack sehr gut. Das Personal war ausserordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit.“

„This property was very nice and accommodating. Our host did a great job of communicating and staying in touch with us. The only small problem (which ended up not being a problem at all for us), is that the property is ONLY accessible by boat. They do provide a small barge for you to burrow and they offer a “boat taxi” service. Overall the experience was great, just be prepared for a tiny boat ride across the canal.“

Nach Außen hin wirkt das Hotel noch recht ordentlich, leider kann man das von den Zimmern nicht sagen. Wir wünschten uns ein ruhiges Zimmer im zweiten Stock mit Blick auf den Pool, was wir bekamen war ein seit langen nicht mehr gereinigter Raum mit muffigen Betten und einem kleinen 4 zu 3 Fernseher. „We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay....from breathtaking sunsets to amazing wildlife. The location was perfect for visiting Louisana....close to New Orleans and not to far from Baton Rouge... The beds and couch were extremely comfy and we loved coming home for the day and just hanging out playing pool and board games.... The host and staff were very nice and always available. Would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends!“

"Nettes Art-Hotel, Zimmer mit Holzdielen-Fußböden. Frühstück war zu teuer für das was man dafür bekommt. Gute Lage im Business District. 1,5 km zu Fuß zum French Quarter. Parkplätze direkt gegenüber vom Hotel, allerdings sehr teuer 46$ für 24h"
