« Booked as part of a longer trip. Situated on the high street, 10 mins from Glastonbury, 20 mins from Haynes Car museum. We only booked the one night, as this was the last leg of our trip, but would have gladly have stayed longer. Warm, friendly welcome. Twin room situated on the top floor. Beds were super comfy, great night sleep. We booked in for evening meal and breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The food was lovely. Really enjoyed our stay, definitely book here...

« We stayed here for our anniversary. We booked a garden suite where we could park outside and had a little court yard area with chairs to enjoy the summer sun. we had access to the gym and pool, steam room and sauna which was a lovely way to end our day. The staff were helpful and happy to help when we had any questions. Would definitely recommend and stay here again if we were in the area »

« The first impression upon entering reception (it's in the pub) is that you feel like you've walked into the crime series Midsummer Murder and are looking to find Barneby. Our room was great, large bed, nice bathroom. You are greeted very warmly and uprightly, and you feel like you've been treated to a very good life. « For a hotel in he middle of Taunton it was excellent, had to pay to park the car though, but parking very convenient. Staff were helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay. »

« Bon accueil. La chambre au rdc est au calme et propre ainsi que la salle de douche. Le plafond est bas, mais on ne se sent pas opprimé. Nous avons dîné au pub, très beau décors. Nous y avons bien mangé (éviter la purée). English breakfast excellent et copieux, à essayer au moins une fois. Le personnel ne parle pas français, mais très disponible cependant. »

« Lovely hotel with beautiful rooms. Very interesting history. Handy for town , 5 mins walk, hundreds of different restaurants Lovely to have decent tea and coffee facilities in our room, with delicious biscuits. A really pleasant little hotel, very handy for the Station – just opposite. Staff are extremely friendly »

« Séjour de 2 jours avec 2 enfants de 3 et 8 ans. Chambre (suite) très agréable avec vue sur l'aire de jeux de l'hôtel et sur la campagne, +/- 25 m2, un grand lit et 2 lits simples. Hôtel disposant d'un bar et d'un restaurant . Dîners et petits déjeuners bons. Gros plus : aire de jeux à l'extérieur avec toboggan, tyrolienne, petit circuit goudronné avec des tracteurs pour enfants (1 £ le tour)...
