« This was my third stay at The Angel....love the hotel and the position is great. With the free parking and being in centre of town it is perfect. Love the shops nearby too but a special shout out goes to Steve the incredible cheerful concierge who went out of his way to help and seemed to be juggling several things at once incredibly effectively. It was a Bank Holiday weekend and so the hotel was very busy. »

« The young receptionist/bar person (I didn’t get her name but she is slim with dark hair and a tattoo on her upper body) was extremely accommodating and so helpful. I had a lot of work to do in my room but needed to have a meal. I asked if I could eat my meal in my room, so ordered it and began to wait. « This was the 4th time staying at the George and for the last 2 times ive a room with a very small tv. So s.all on this stay that watching the football i had difficulty seeing who was who and were the ball was. Otherwise the staff are friendly the meal i had very good.
