« Really adorable place! My husband, son (5yrs), and I stayed here when visiting Cooperstown (about 40 mins away). We enjoyed dinner and the used bookstore in Cobleskill and had plenty of space to play our favorite board games at. This place was very easy to find, conveniently located (from LI we drove here Friday, made Cooperstown a day trip Sat, and drove back on Sunday), super clean, well renovated and decorated and the host was very responsive. « This property was amazing! It was perfect for our family group. The kitchen is spacious and updated, there was plenty of space for everyone, and the game room downstairs was a huge hit! The house was clean and obviously well cared for. The adults enjoyed the hot tub, and the kids loved the games and the outdoor pond with lots of frogs. Rick is a great host, and very easy to communicate with. We had a wonderful time and hope to stay again! Thank you Rick! »

« Beautiful and peaceful getaway - the property is very true to the description and the hosts were extremely helpful with everything that we needed. It was very kid and pet friendly. « We all had a really great weekend stay! Beautiful view of the pond in the back and a treehouse beyond the pond.The Shaver Hill Sugar House is only a half mile up the road and a nice spot. « Many problems with this listing, first the fire alarm was low on battery, I had to physically climb to reach the smoke detector to detach and remove the battery, a sharp beeping noise went off every 90 seconds and we wouldn’t have been able to sleep without stopping it. There were no spare batteries to change. There were spiders everywhere. My friend used the shower and saw 11 of them moving around the ceiling.
