« We ran into our host on our way out to the car, and she was absolutely lovely. Also provided water bottles which was huge! Very cozy space and warm. »

« The hose is really cute and decorated well, however we were put off by the smell of the water. My family refused to even wash with it. We had to go to the store for bottled water and shower at a friend's house. Also the bedding needed to be laundered. I emailed the owner about these problems and did not hear back. »

« Beautiful place tucked back in the woods. Very relaxing and incredibly clean. The free coffee was a nice touch too. Will 100% be returning to The Gunks because of this house. »

« Our stay was wonderful. The host really thought of everything when it came to the stay. It really felt like home during our stay because of the thoughful touches and cleanliness. The location was also fantastic, it had majestic and calming views of the river, walking path about a mile away, and close to both Newburgh and Kingston. I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again. Comfortable, clean, relaxing stay. »

« Misleading listing. Apartment is 2 blocks from major freight train route which ran all through the night. Clearly a known noise issue with earplugs and white noise machines in the bedroom. Would have been better to know upfront this would interrupt sleep throughout the night. Backs onto a bar so band noises till 1am. Backyard is tired and not as presented. »

« We loved the location right in town , excellent! Great shops, bars and restaurants within a short walking distance. We loved the room too. About the only improvement I can think of is if you upgraded the couch to a full size one. We will book again the next time we go to Woodstock. »
