„Das Hotel war mittelmässig. Die Zimmer sehr klein. Beim online Einchecken wurde uns ein Upgrade angeboten, welches dann doch nicht verfügbar war. Die Frau am Empfang hat uns nicht wirklich begrüsst. Beim Frühstück waren wir alleine. Es war kein grosses Angebot aber ok. “

„It was a real treat to stay at the Balsam Inn! The Inn is off the beaten path like I wanted and very very quite. Jenny is a warm welcoming host. She even upgraded my room just because it was available. The room itself was beautiful! It felt like I was a guest in someones Adirondack mountain home. „If we could rate Bonnie and Steve higher than 5 stars we would. They were great communicaters before our trip and were nothing but warm and welcoming from the moment we got there. The house was great but what really makes the property is the location and outdoor space. „The cabin wasn’t as clean as I would have liked it to be. There was mud and dirt on the futon and the floors and the vacuum that was there did not work well. Also the shower didn’t drain well because the pitch of the floor slanted the wrong way so you stood in water the whole time while showering. But other than that it was okay.“

„Very clean, private setting. Pet friendly. Enjoyed the pool and front porch! Beds were very comfortable, but the first-floor bed with the Jack and Jill ensuite was too high for seniors to climb into. I traveled with my 87-year-old mother and 94-year-old aunt; they had to use the upstairs bedroom with the lower queen mattress. Great place for a larger party.“
