The reason I'm only giving it an overall rating of 4, is because: 1 - There's no bathtub (yes, the description clearly states shower only - but come on! e/o loves a bath after a tiring day..) 2 - There is a raised stone slab on the floor where the fireplace should be. « I was on a motorcycle trip ... I got there mid morning ... hours ahead of check in time. I was saturated from traveling on motorcycle through mountain areas in a very heavy storm. The manager moved me to a different room to let me go in early and get out of the rain, which was very much appreciated. »

« Hitorical, straightforward, part of REAL community, NOT A STERILE HOTEL, personable while professional. It has old fashioned boarding house charm. Highly recommend, unless you are seeking the Hilton. »

« I had such a great experience at the Breezy hill Inn in Catskill. We went there to celebrate my birthday which was incredible. The place was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. Michelle and Alan were friendly and welcoming, and they made sure everything was taken care of during our stay.
