« Technically the house was"clean" but it's grimy. The doors and floors all needed a deep clean. One of the showers had a curtain with red mold stains. The AC could not cool the upstairs properly, and the 3rd floor was excessively hot. The wall to wall carpet on the second floor was smelly. The living room was lacking seating for adults. I wouldn't recommend this house for a family get together, but maybe it would be fine for a bachelor party. The listing said there was one bedroom with a king....

When finally able to track down contact info for the vacation property company that listed the rental they had to share hotel front desk info and that’s when we learned name was Windrose On Hudson. Very stressful situation- enjoyed historical location. Great facility, not so great TV/streaming set-up… cable. »

However, the two window units were just not sufficient to cool the house, nor were they situated in places where the air was able to circulate throughout the house. The house is older but comfortable enough with appropriate seating but lacking in lighting in the bedrooms. The bed in the master bedroom was...

« Lovely place, convenient to New York trains and Westchester locations. »

« We had a wonderful time visiting NY for my 2 grandchildren’s graduation celebrations. The house was spacious & very comfortable for our family of 11 & my sweet pup. If the opportunity comes again to visit NY this house would be 1st on our list. Thank you for sharing your home with us. »
