Peace and happiness

We go up at least 2x a year and decide to try strawberry point... The cabin was beautiful, quiet and very clear. My only complaint was it's on a very steep hill. If you don't have 4 WD you won't make it in the winter..also we like to play games outside and there wasn't a flat spot on the property. Besides that we really enjoyed our stay ..

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, the area was quiet and peaceful, it was exactly what we were hoping for. The cabin was comfortable, clean and well stocked. Highly recommend staying here.

Stayed with my husband. Overall, we liked the cabin but had a few dislikes that may have been avoided if I had paid closer attention to the pictures. I didn't receive the check in email from VBRO so I contacted the host and she was very quick about responding, which was great because we didn't get cell service closer to the cabin. The place felt very cozy and clean. The showers are great and are designed very well. They had hot water and good water pressure. The kitchen sink was enormous, which was good because there is no dishwasher so you have to hand wash the dishes - something I should have noticed from the pictures. Another thing I thought maybe they didn't get a picture of was the dressers in the bedrooms. There aren't any, so you don't have a place to unpack your suitcase. There are some hangars provided and some shelves in the closets but those were already full of blankets, and there is no light in the closet to see what is on the shelves. Luckily it was just the two of us so we used the second bed to put our clothes that would have gone in dresser drawers. There aren't nightstands with lamps in the bedroom, just small tables that fit a few items. The doors to the bathrooms from the bedrooms are barn doors, so they don't really close all the way and are not a favorite if you want 100% privacy from the bedroom to do your business. Washer and dryer were a big plus, and condiments were available in the fridge. Perfect location to all the parks we went to!

2 week getaway

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was more remote than we realized but we ended up loving the quiet of the area. The cabin was well appointed with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. (We’ve stayed in places that haven’t had these). The cabin was clean but does need some additional dusting of the higher areas where we could see some dust and cobwebs. Only a concern because one of us is allergic to dust. And we were disappointed that the fireplace did not work without the remote (which was missing). The owner did offer to buy us lunch to compensate but we didn’t follow up with her. For us, the main disappointment was the lack of lighting in the living area and the bedrooms. The main lighting was the ceiling lights which is a pain when you just want to read in bed and then have to get up to turn the light off. And in the living area we didn’t want the overhead on all night while watching tv but the one other available light wasn’t bright enough for me to do my cross stitch. So overall, a very nice place that could just use some task lighting.

This cabin was clean, well kept, and stocked with everything you could need. It’s really central to everything and far enough away from other properties that it’s private. I had a question before hand and I was replied to within 20 minutes. Thank you for making the end of 2024 great!

Great Cabin Stay

What a great stay. The cabin is in very good condition. It’s comfortable and has everything you need. The location was great as a base for our Zion/Bryce trips. Duck Creek was such a quaint little town with some good places to eat. We really enjoyed Aunt Sue’s. It’s the definition of a small-town mom and pop place with good food. Laura was a great host to work with. She shared wonderful insight on the area and was very responsive to my communications. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place to visit Zion and Bryce

We booked this property because it was halfway between Zion and Bryce National Parks. We were traveling with another couple, and it was so nice for each of us to have our own bathroom. The property is nestled in the woods and it is so quiet. The beds are comfortable, and there were spices etc. there for our use. Laura is a wonderful host and so easy to communicate with. The only issue we had was that we wanted to use the barbecue, but it looked like a family of forest creatures beat us to it! Loved this place,

Great time in Utah

We were located ideally between Bryce and Zion. The house was very comfy and perfect for resting from our adventures. We made a few dinners in and enjoyed the firepit. Enjoyed the coffee shop in Hatch several mornings. Don’t miss Strawberry Point scenic viewpoint nearby.

Beautiful and well-stocked

The property has a great balcony, a grill that has easy has service included, a fire pit that my grandchildren loved to make marshmallows, with a well-designed cabin. The owners have items you may forget available - wood was available for a cost - and very woodsy designed. We struggled with the app - owner was available to provide immediate support! Access to movies, games and beautiful views - appreciated. We go to Duck Creek a couple times a year, and this is one of the most refined cabins. It was so clean! Washer and dryer available. We will be back!

Nice cabin

Cabin itself was great and info emailed so easy check in. Nestled in the trees. Suggest making sure you either eat ahead or have food because local places close early and there aren’t many around. Although the cabin has stuff to cook with the pots and pans can definitely be updated as they were not in in good condition. We had to cut our stay short due to roads beginning to flood from snow melt.

Get away in the woods
