„My friends and I decided to have a mini staycation. I found this spot last minute and was so excited to enjoy the beautiful property. Check in was so easy and Renee was very kind and helpful. We had our dogs with us and they loved playing in the river. Just beware the current is strong. We had them on leashes at all times to make sure they didn’t float away. The bonfire area was perfect, right by the river where you can hear the water and see fireflies all around you! The beds were very clean ...

„I booked a short stay, spur of the moment, and Peter was very kind and accommodating. He made the whole process extremely easy. The cottage is great! It sits right on Lower Herring Lake, so I had terrific views and complete lake access. The cabin is nicely appointed and has a spacious living room, and a very comfortable, cozy bedroom. The kitchen contains everything you need for your stay and the washer and dryer on the back indoor porch is an added bonus. I will be back!“

„My family of 14 stayed here for a week. Great location, great communication with the host, beautiful Betsie River for morning kayak trips.The house was well appointed. Improvements I could suggest are pretty small...a screen on the downstairs bedroom, more hooks for hanging clothes in bedrooms, a clothesline for drying towels. Small things, indeed!We loved staying in David's home. The screened in porch was a favorite! Perfect for a big group.“

Less than 20 minutes from Sleeping Bears Dunes and less than 5 miles from beach front at Lake Michigan, it allowed us time to explore instead of wasting time driving. Teenage sons enjoyed the lake and boats provided with the rental. Cabin was clean and spacious for our family of 4. We’d stay again! “
