« Good location to visit the KC Zoo and Starlight Theater. Our room and the hotel in general looks a bit in rough shape. Could use an update. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Made up for some of the physical issues with the building. »

« The room we were originally checked into was not clean. The sheets had a lot of hair on them and some smudges. There was trash on the floor of the bathroom and dead insects. The room smelled. They changed us to a cleaner room, which was tolerable, so we stayed. The pillows were lumpy. The communication for getting checked in was difficult. »

When we noticed there weren’t any pillows or a blanket for the fold out couch for our kids, we asked the front desk. They had no blankets & only offered extra sheets. They said they were out of blankets. I’m not even sure how this happens as there should have been a blanket for this bed in our room. They were only able to find one pillow. « The room was nice and spacious. It was pretty clean, but my comforter definitely had cigarette burns in it even though it’s a smoke free hotel. The common areas were clean and the staff was helpful! »

« There was a large sticky spot in the carpet and a leak in the ceiling in the shower. I reported the problems and they said maintenance would look into it. With 2 issues in the room, I was disappointed they didn’t move us to a different room or at least comp the room. »

« The hotel was nice. The breakfast was listed as a buffet. It had a warmer unit that had scrambled eggs, sliced sausage and French toast sticks in it. A waffle maker, cereal, hard boiled eggs and some breads. Not what I would call a buffet. Other than that the hotel was nice as was the pool. The Staff was friendly. The room was nice. A Waffle House was a short walk. The hotel and parking lot were safe. I would stay there again. »

« This is an updated older motel. Parking is at the door for most rooms. Bedding was excellent. A/C excellent. Blackout drapes excellent. No carpeting so floors were very clean. Dbl queen room had seating for 2. Small fridge with freezer. Coffee in room was excellent. Bathroom had been redone with deep tub/shower combo. Makes for a nice soaking bath.
