« Heel fijn met in de buurt veel wandel mogelijkheden in het Ashdown Forrest. Niet ver daar vandaan was een mooi tuincetrum waar we veel tuingereedschap voor thuis gekocht hebben. Ook tuinen als Sissinghurst en Krijtrotsen de Seven Sisters was prima te rijden op ongeveer 1 uur vanaf het huisje. Als je van Winnie de Pooh houd is er in Hartfield op 20 min. rijden de Pooh Corner waar de schrijver zijn inspiratie had met niet ver daar vandaan de brug en woonplekken van de dieren in het verhaal. »

« We had us a wonderful time at the Riverside Stable Cottage, which looks very nice, is very comfortable and also clean. The countryside out there is beautiful and so is the view from the cottage itself. Inside the cottage everything we needed was provided for which made it a perfectly relaxing stay. Communication with owner Simon went smoothly; he answered all questions we had promptly. Whenever we're around Maidstone again, we'd love to come back to the Riverside Stable Cottage! »

« A lovely centrally located property which is full of character, from the compact courtyard seating area which was a lovely sun trap in the late afternoons, to the spacious living area and comfortable bedrooms. The host was very attentive and provide comprehensive welcome information and assistance throughout the stay. The town itself is lovely - we wished we could have stayed longer! »

« Le chalet est trĂšs confortable par son design, son mobilier et son Ă©quipement. Nous Ă©tions trois et c’était parfait. Il est situĂ© entre une rĂ©serve naturelle boisĂ©e et de grandes Ă©tendues herbeuses. Tous les jours, nous voyions circuler une dizaine de cerfs et de biches. Et nous Ă©tions voisins de trois moutons :-) Endroit parfait pour se reposer au cƓur de la nature et pour circuler dans la magnifique rĂ©gion du Kent. »

« This house was perfect for me, my husband and my sister. We were at a lunch party on Haying Island and we were able to easily drive to Sheffield Park in the light. The parking was so convenient and the cottage was extremely well equipped, not that we needed a washing machine. I would unhesitatingly recommend it. We tried to set off the dishwasher just the once, but the top shelf was attached by elastic bands and so we didn't risk putting anything there. Had we been going to stay longer I would...

« A cosy cottage with a ‘home from home’ ambience. Caroline & Mark have thought of everything; a well equipped kitchen, lots of reading material relating to the locale, maps, walks and games.
