„Unterkunft ist sicher einzigartig - man sitzt dadurch auf dem Präsentierteller, da es weit und breit das einzige Boot ist. Die Optik ist wunderbar - leider auch oberflächlich und wenig funktional (zB Fahrräder nicht fahrtauglich, Blumentöpfe bei Regen voll Wasser, auch Kissen). Technik wirkt selbst gebastelt.... die Wasserpumpe ist laut und erfordert Geduld, das beim Duschen, Baden und WC-Gang. Aus der Dusche kam 3 Tage nur kochend heißes Wasser, was uns den Urlaub richtig vermieste. Der ...

„Eine ganz großartige, außergewöhnliche Form, in London zu wohnen. Sehr zentral gelegenes, hübsches Boot mit einem extrem netten Vermieter, der uns sogar eine Stunde lang mit dem Boot über den Kanal geschippert hat. Ganz großartiges Erlebnis. Gerne wieder.“

„Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit auf dem Hausboot - es ist super zentral gelegen, der Host Thomas kümmert sich sofort bei Fragen und hat uns sogar eine Runde mit dem Boot auf dem Kanal gefahren. Das Bad ist klein mit allem, was man braucht. Die Toilette ist ein Campingklo und die Dusche muss ca. 40 min. Vorheizen. Es ist eine Küche an Bord mit allem, was man so braucht. „perfect location, lots going on but at the same time quite quiet, i guess in high season this would be different. Kaia and Bruce perfect hosted. Just a couple of suggestions, a hook on bathroom door and shelves above toilet to put towels and clothes etc on. Maybe a small drop down table in the bedroom. “

„Taggs Island is such an interesting little enclave close to London and unbeknownst to us before. Set in a small inlet off the Thames, the house is one of a group facing onto the water. Linda, the host, has very much personalised it and provides every comfort. Although an expensive add-on, highly recommend the hot tub, which is deep and relaxing. Only down-side to the situation and rather shattering the peace, is being on the Heathrow flightpath, which we hadn't thought about!“
