„Beautiful lake front property. The home was very clean and well organized. Everything we needed and more was there. They have inner tubes and kayaks available and a lovely dock for fishing or just laying out. The owners are right next door if you needed anything which we did not, but still nice to know they were close by. It was really hot while we were there and the house stayed really cool. Would definitely rebook. “

„Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. “

„There is almost no where to stay in Gilmer, but this cabin was perfect. You can hear the road noise, but it’s really not horrible. We have family of 6, with kids between the ages of 1-14. Everyone had their own bed, and our older kids thought the loft was really cool. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The A/C works great. My kids enjoyed walking the property too. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit family. “

„It was gorgeous and very calming endless outdoor adventure. My only setback was this was the first experience with solar power and it would have been helpful to have a welcome book with instructions on how to unplug the outside lights when not in use as well as a guideline on the power and how to prevent overuse and what to do when if it runs out. „This is a jewel of a place to relax and enjoy the country life. We knew we were going to love it from the minute we pulled in the long driveway. Each morning we had breakfast on the side patio and watched the ducks on the pond. The facilities provide everything you could need for your stay. „This place was awesome. Very provate hidden gem. Caught loys of bass and rode alot of hidden trails that seem to go on forever. The pavilion is amazing. „Very nice well kept tiny house. We felt very comfortable and slept great. It had a great little deck overlooking a pond. Only a couple of minor issues - the house is pretty close to the highway so there was some road noise but a fan in the bedroom provided enough white noise to cover it. Also, be aware the cell service was limited. We have ATT and were not able to use cellular. The house does however provide wifi with internet so one can utilize that for texting and wifi calling.
