„We had an amazing time and cannot wait to come back for a longer stay. It’s only a 20 minute drive to Marion and there’s lots of great places there to eat. We loved the Sisters Cafe and the Wooden Pickle. Hot tub was amazing and it was so peaceful there. Have already recommended to several friends.“

„This property was exactly as listed. It was very comfortable and cozy. Everything was super clean. The owner was also available if needed. The location was very good, and there was a cafe which served breakfast and lunch with a very welcoming staff. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.“

„This cabin was a clean,spacious, family friendly located in a quite subdivision. My elderly parent found the single level layout easy navigate. Plenty of outdoor activities close to explore and the lake was prestine. Lots of shopping close. We very much enjoyed the lighting bugs display right after sundown. It was like Christmas trees lit up! Thank you for sharing your lovely pet friendly home with us.“

„Very clean not even cobwebs on the high ceilings! Cozy but spacious. The stairs to the loft bedroom are so neat. Decorated very well. The large new deck has great views of Mtns/lake. We got to hear rain on the metal roof and see lightning bugs in the trees. Host was a fantastic communicator. There is a great list of things to do in the area on the fridge. 3 adults stayed comfortably with our own rooms and there is 2 living rooms. Definitely 5 stars worthy!!“

„The property is a little run down. All of the animals are gone, fields are over grown. The pond and the pavillion area has not been cared for. Yes the grass had been mowed but that was it. All of the chairs were dirty and covered in grass trimmings and dirt. Shameful. It was such a great place to sit and enjoy the property. The cabin however, was in great condition and very clean. That was the one thing we found satisfactory. We hope the new owners will take pride in the beautiful property they ...

„We were so happy with our stay at the Driftwood Lodge. There was plenty of room for everyone to have some personal space. My kids (12 & 16) enjoyed playing ping pong and air hockey downstairs. We were also able to enjoy the canoe! It is a nice neighborhood for walking in the evenings with beautiful views of the lake. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We hope to visit again!“

„Our stay at the Coppertop House was nice! Everything was clean and host provided a guide book for all our questions. Location is pretty but close to main road. Creek not visible from home. But overall a nice cozy place for a short visit.“

„I took my elderly mother and niece to SW VA for a wedding weekend. Everyone loved the house, the backyard, and the quiet neighborhood. The owners did a great job thinking about extra touches such as kleenex, nightlights, etc. The house and property were amazing. And after I realized I had forgotten shampoo and shower soap, Wal-Mart was conveniently only 20 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again.“

"POSITIV Schönes, historisches Hotel im Zentrum der Kleinstadt Marion, VA Gemütliches, sauberes Zimmer mit historischem Charme. Freundliches Personal ZU VERBESSERN Auch als historisches Hotel würden einige Auffrischungen und Renovierungen nicht schaden. Gläser statt Plastikbecher auf dem Zimmer wäre toll. Gäste im Nebenzimmer durch Verbindungstür laut zu hören. Treppenstufen, um zur Lobby (ab dort Lift) zu kommen, bei schwerem Gepäck unbequem. Frühstück zwar kostenlos, aber viel zu einfach und nichts frisch, Frühstücksraum nicht schön. Klimaanlage im Zimmer sehr laut. "

"I don’t understand the positive feedbacks. The hotel is old and run down. In the gym, none of the equipment works properly. Sofa in room was torn in several places. Mirrors were really dirty. TV is old and picture quality is poor. I wouldn't stay here again"
