You will have access to the entire house except for the locked owner's closet. There is also room for several cars to park in the driveway as well as room for your own boat to be tied up to the dock.

BOATERS WELCOME! Bring your boat. From our home, Real Island Marina is approximately a 5 mile drive by car and a 5-10 minute boat ride. You can leave your trailer at the marina or alongside the road at the top of our driveway. You will find room to tie up your boat at our private dock.

Due to this home being in a rural area, you will NOT have access to any transportation during your stay.

By boat, multiple marinas are only minutes away, and there’s a marina about five minutes away by car. Alexander City is roughly 30 minutes away, with plenty of restaurants, groceries, and anything else you might need.The house is modern, updated, clean, comfortable, and very inviting. Comfortable beds, great A/C, seriously awesome ceiling fans, smart TVs throughout, a well-equipped kitchen, grill, plenty of outdoor seating, and a screened-in porch with its own TV. The waterfront is fantastic. The dock has plenty of room to fish, relax, or enjoy the view. We brought our boat, and the floating dock made getting on and off incredibly easy. The water is beautiful and almost clear, with the cool emerald-green tint Lake Martin is known for. Half the time, we just swam right there. The whole area feels peaceful and friendly. There’s also a fire pit and plenty of outdoor lighting at night.We had six adults plus a baby and never felt cramped. There was ample room for everyone. Pate was an excellent host. Always quick to respond, proactive, and helpful throughout our stay. They're total pros!Everything about our visit was beyond pleasant.
