„Fint ophold. Der var lige lidt mangler ved ankomst men vi kontaktede udlejer og han kom inden for en time og fixede det hele. Selve resortet er super lækkert og smukt. Man bor nede i "bunden" væk fra stranden så man får hurtigt gået sine 10.000 skridt hvis man tøffer lidt rundt på hotellet. Vi har ikke været særlig begejstrede for selve resort-personalet i receptionen - de var svære at kommunikerer med. Men overall virkelig fint til prisen. Dejlig destination!“

„We’ve spent 4 nights in the Tropical Resort. Everything was perfect. The apartment very clean and equipped with everything. The resort it’s 5 minutes away from the beach and 10 minutes away from the center, giving a peaceful and quiet environment. We’ve had some arrival and departure problems and Roger and Philip did everything to help us. I recommend a 100% this resort.“

„The apartment is well maintained and was spotlessly clean. A couple of really minor issues were almost instantly resolved and the communication throughout the booking and the stay was excellent.The resort common areas are clean and well maintained. There’s always loads of vacant loungers on the sunny and pleasantly breezy beach. Buy drinks or coffee from the hotel bars with your credit card which are cheap and strong! The Dunas hotel has some bad reviews but that doesn’t affect the apartment or ...

„Very good location, inside a Melia beautiful resort. Possible to use swimming pools and beach. Excellent wi-fi . Kitchen very well equipped. They cleaned the room at half staying. Just portuguise TV . ( For CNN and SKY listening didn' work). I suggest to explain how the safe works ( it's only in portuguise) and that air-conditioning works with a timer next to the front door, not simply with the remote control.“

„The ad on Vrbo was slightly misleading. It wasn't clear that it was on the Melia Tortuga resort, so we were worried that it might have been above the Reggae Bar. We needn't have worried.The flat was fantastic, the location is perfect - you get use of Tortuga facilities whilst being fully self-catering. Splendid west-facing beach. Walking distance of Santa Maria, with a real African vibe, and a South-facing beach. Taxis 5 euros each way. There's a supermarket close by, in the complex opposite the ...

„We spent two wonderful weeks in John's appartment. The pictures are fair enough with the appartment. We made one week self catering and one week all inclusive the resort allows you to upgrade your stay it was a great idea. I suggest to rent a car and explore the island by yourself. We highly recommend John's appartment.“

„Die Wohnung war sauber und sehr geräumig. Die Anlage war gepflegt. An einigen Stelle wurde gebaut, wir waren davon aber nicht betroffen. Die Kommunikation mit den Angestellten war schwierig aber machbar. Zum Essen können wir nichts sagen, wir haben uns selbst verpflegt. Es gab kleine Supermärkte in der Nähe, auch mit ein paar veganen und glutenfreien Produkten. “

„Conveniently located at a resort just a few steps from the beach. Very much an all inclusive resort . Would have liked independent restaurants and a coffee shop. Ants in the bathrooms but the landlord came immediately with spray. Very friendly hostess, short response time. Two large pools. Lots of activities. Possible to buy all inclusive onsite. Kitchen utensils was good. Though we have rated standard as average, for the region it is quite ok. Would go back!“
