« Chambre cosy dans un quartier calme. Petit déjeuner inclus et copieux. Personnel très agréable. Seul bémol : l'hôtel est est assez excentré. A pieds, il faut un bon quart d'heure de grimpette pour y aller. Restaurant indien juste à côté. »

The Grand is 'grand' a stylish property probably more than 100 years old- carpeted rooms- confortable bed-high ceiling- modern bathroom-(good water pressure)- decent included breakfast- very friendly staff. Nothing really special BUT for this price it is value for money in he UK. »

« Nous avons été bien accueillis. L'hôtel est un ancien manoir situé dans un bel environnement. L'après-midi, nous nous sommes retrouvées seuls dans cet hôtel ! Nous avions l'impression d'être des châtelains. En dehors de la propriété, il faut faire des kilomètres pour trouver de quoi se restaurer correctement (le dimanche soir, l'hôtel ferme son restaurant). Nous avons passé une nuit très calme... »

« The staff made our experience fabulous. Everyone we met was helpful, friendly and accommodating. I am disabled and needed to use a mobility scooter to get around, nothing was too much bother. The first room was difficult to access for me, we informed reception and were seamlessly and quickly moved to another room. « Hôtel dans une batisse d'époque, en excellent état de conservation avec une impression de remonter l'histoire... Chambre 709 très agréable, rénové, avec une belle salle de bain (baignoire à bulle et douche séparées). Le signal wi-fi est excellent. Un seul repas pris au restaurant de l'hôtel : très bonne qualité et personnel serviable et sympathique. Petit déjeuner anglais et continental de qualité tout à fait correcte. »

« On arrival the man in reception was very welcoming, very pleasant. In fact all the receptionists were very friendly and efficient. The room was standard so not so big though it was very nice. I can’t understand how my sister booked the same type of room on the same date through hotels.com but at a much cheaper price than us. »
