Great beach house!

Perfect beach house with everything needed for a weekend getaway. The house was comfortable and location on beach could not be better. The code didn’t work upon entry, so took a little while to get in, but management got back to me to provide new one fairly quickly.

Family Sring Break

The layout of home was great and as pictured. We enjoyed the deck space and ability to spread out. The kitchen and bathrooms were quite dirty which was very disappointing! There were many electrical issues with outlets, lighting, and hair dryer. The elevator was not working which was an issue for my 83 year old father.This was our third stay on Folly Beach and although we did enjoy our stay, I would not return to this particular home.

Nice location and nice time!

We had a nice stay as the property was right on the beach. 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bath, balconies, screened-in porch. Spacious for the 8 of us. Excellent sunrise view and sand strolling. Ping pong table and cornhole. Grill (charcoal, not propane). We rented beach equipment. Walking distance to pleasant seafood restaurants and for breakfast/lunch. Only 30 minutes to historic Charleston and Mount Pleasant (movie and miniature golf/arcade). Very relaxing.

Great location!

We liked this house and loved the location! We really appreciated the start-up toiletries and kitchen essentials. Not all rentals do that and we wanted you to know it was noted and appreciated. The top level of the house is beautiful, excellent for entertaining with the open floor plan. Spent most of our time on the screened in deck off of the living room. Of course it needs some updates, but for a rental, it served its purpose for us! The management company has been 5 star, so responsive and quick to address any issues. Thank you for everything, we look forward to visiting Folly again!

Lots of room for the family to do so many things

This is our second year staying at this property. We have all adult children so the configuration of the two living areas plus the space in the bedrooms and the double decks allow people to engage in so many activities simultaneously,; well-stocked kitchen, which opens right into a dining room and a big open room thatprovides priceless family time. Of course this property is just on the beach. The management of the property on site has just changed. There is no longer free cancellation.

Fantastic ocean views!

Wonderful property within steps of the beach. The decks and porches have unobstructed views of the water. Comfortable furniture, lots of seating for the 8 of us. Kitchen well stocked. Highly recommend. A note to maintenance: two lights out in master bath. And to cleaning services: only one roll of toilet paper in master bath. All the others had an extra roll. No big deal.

Luxury beach house

The house was beautiful. Facing the ocean, gorgeous unobstructed view, huge kitchen with all appliances, dishware, utensils. High ceilings, nice and big bedrooms. Our group was 5 couples. We also enjoyed the charcoal grill and ping pong table. Great location. Easy walk to Bert's grocery.

Two decks, two living areas: One Great Family Time

We rented this house to spend the Christmas holiday with our grown children. Obviously, the location is the prize here. The house is close enough to downtown Folly, stores on James Island to be convenient, but isolated enough to enjoy quiet solitude. We enjoyed that we could spread out so someone could read a book on one porch and another group would be playing a board game on another porch; same with the living rooms. Kitchen is hugely stocked with so many cooking implements. Beds comfortable; immaculately clean; VACASA is super responsive on all booking questions. We've already booked a return visit.

House was awesome

This house is very spacious and accommodated our family well. The multiple living spaces and outside deck spaces were great for our group. There is a public beach access next door which made the neighborhood a bit busy but didn’t really bother us. The beach access is easy and there was everything we needed. I would recommend that people bring their own each towels as there are none provided. It’s a great place to stay.

Just a perfect spot for our family vacation

We used to live in Charleston, so we had a pretty good idea of what we wanted for a vacation stay in Folly. This was a perfect spot. Incredible outdoor space, great bedrooms, Safe for our kids, it really had it all. We had one very minor hiccup with a fire alarm battery dying but the maintenance team was helpful to quickly communicate and come over and sort that out for us. We’d love to stay here again as we plan many repeat trips back to Folly/Charleston

Folly in February

This property is amazing. Right on a beautiful beach. The layout is perfect for a big group, family or even a small getaway. And they’ve got all the things you need - kitchen ware - soap and shampoo - etc. The town has a few beachy seafood kind of places to eat or there are plenty of grocery stores in the area. We went to Charleston for dinner one night which was also great. Melvins BBQ also worth the drive. Take a day trip to the state park in Kiaweh it’s beautiful! Folly is close to everything so it was great staying here - lots of folks not masking up tho so use caution and stay safe! We would love to rent this place again!
