« My son and I came down for a long weekend to play golf. The condo was perfect for what needed. The location is excellent. We were able use the amenities at the Rambling Bald resort and catch a few fish in the lake on the resort. »

« The property was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The only recommendation that I have is that it needs more cleaning products. For example, there was no soap for the bathroom sinks, only 1 packet for dishwasher detergent (hardly sufficient for a 3-night stay), and a very small bottle of dish detergent. »

« Our family stayed here for our annual vacation. We are visiting all 50 states and this was a great place to stay for North Carolina as we got to see some of the great local sites like chimney rock. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for the week. The kids loved the pool and lake. We had an amazing afternoon renting a pontoon boat. One thing about this property is that it's managed by the resort so we didn't get the personal touches that we often find with VRBO...

« The property is gorgeous. The views are phenomenal. The place was nice and clean but needs a little maintenance. Several lights were out but there was plenty of lighting so many that some were hard to figure out what switch went to which light. One of the rooms did not have an tv. Overall I would definitely recommend the stay. The resort staff were extremely helpful, professional, and pleasant. The resort has plenty to keep you busy and would love to have been able to stay longer. »

« Overall, we had a great stay!The house was beautiful and full of fun touches, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. We especially loved having access to the resort amenities — a major bonus that really elevated our trip.Our only feedback is that while the home was clean on the surface, a closer look revealed areas that could use more attention (like baseboards, windowsills, and window frames). « We love Rumbling Bald Resort. There is a ton to do there with kids (indoor/outdoor pool, miniature golf, beach). The unit was nice and the description/photos were accurate. The location was easy to get to inside the resort. We did not get starter samples of soap, shampoo, dishwasher tabs, etc even though the description said we would. When I called security to ask for some (the number we were given to call) no one would ever answer the phone (despite multiple attempts). Only other real complaint...

« Condo was very nice, and very clean. Our only issue was that we arrived after dark, and the stairs going down to entrance were rather dark. The check-in was a little confusing. The guest services referenced in check-in instructions is actually 1.5miles away from the property. That took us a little while to figure out, and we had zero cellular service with Verizon, in that area. So I had to just drive and find somewhere to stop and ask about it. « The resort is fantastic with lots to do. The boys golfed, the ladies went to the beach. We also enjoyed the pool and hiked a bit. Several good and snack options. The accommodations are a bit dated but adequate. The kitchen could use more utensils and large spoons/spatulas. We had to wash forks after every meal. »
