„The place is indeed spacious and we had a great time mucking about in the river. There is no air conditioner, but it wasn't too bad since it cooled at night and we were out and about most days. It's conveniently located across a general store and next to a restaurant/bar and just a five minute ride to Pinecrest Lake.It is a little bit dated, but it does have most of what you need and you just can't beat the location.“

„We had a great time at the Roost Cabin. We enjoyed sitting outside on the deck taking in the scenery. We loved the area and took several hikes at the nearby Calaveras Big Trees park and also drove up to Lake Alpine. We would definitely love to come to this cabin again. “

„We stayed at the Granite Cabin for a Father’s Day family get together. The cabin was clean, beds comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. Although close to the highway, traffic noise was limited during the day and quiet at night. Strawberry is a nice corner of the Sierra Nevada. Plan on cooking your meals early in the week as local restaurants are closed. We likely will stay at the cabin again. “

„Our stay at Arnold’s Cozy Cabin was perfect! The house is beautiful and nestled among the pines in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by the kindest neighbors. It was a convenient drive to the supermarket (less than 5 minutes), coffee shop, Big Trees, White Pines Lake, and Murphy’s were all a short drive away too, which made our stay very memorable and enjoyable. „I loved the location of this cabin in the woods. I drove to Pinecrest every day, spent the day and then came back to sleep. I saw beautiful chickens and hens one day, and pheasants another day. " Wir haben uns in dieser (riesigen) Lodge sehr wohl gefühlt!! Unser Zweibettzimmer mit Balkon war sehr sauber und geräumig, das Bad modern und die Dusche ziemlich groß, herrlich! Leider haben wir auch hier (wie so oft in den USA) in der Dusche eine Handbrause vermisst! Auf dem gesamten Gelände wird sehr viel geboten, es gibt einen tollen großen Außen- Pool, einen Whirlpool nebenan, unzählige Spielmöglichkeiten im Freien, wie Boule bzw. Boccia, das Spiel „Vier gewinnt“, verschiedene Rutschen usw. Ein separates Gebäude mit Aufenthaltsraum (mit offenem Kamin) für die Gäste, ein Restaurant, ein großes Spielzimmer (Klettern, Kicker und Shuffleboard spielen möglich). Ganz toll fanden wir auch die „S’mores“ (jeden Abend!) am Lagerfeuer! Die Graham Cracker, Marshmallows und Schokolade, sowie Teleskop-Gabeln zum Aufstecken der Marshmallows, konnte man sich kostenfrei holen. Wir hatten leider nur zwei Übernachtungen, wären gerne viel länger geblieben!! Diese Lodge ist ideal für Familien. Wir werden sie auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen :)"
