Cabanes à Fort Davis

« There were several good things about this place. The sky deck was very enjoyable. The little "cabin" is cute. The location is great for someone who needs to walk a dog. The owner made check in very easy. However, the bathroom floor and shower were not clean. (We wore our shoes) The microwave had to be moved and the top of it and the fridge were filthy. It was dirty behind the trash and in the corners of the room. The sheets and bedding didn't seem clean. We gave this place a 4 anyway because...

« The location is amazing and situated in between Big Bend and the Davis Mountains. The grounds are taken care of and it is relatively private and quiet, there were some dogs barking and kids at the next door rental. The bed was decent and it had plenty of room for us and 2 kids. Also, the dark sky is delightful! The reason it doesn’t get 5 stars… The A/C and Heat was broken for the cabin and we were not told until we arrived and let the owner know.
