While the condo was fine, a few community items needed to be mentioned. Condo Items1.The toaster was broken, and the owners replaced it very quickly. Good response time to a problem. 2.The B&D coffee pot was tricky to turn on. The on/off button did not work, but we were able to use the program start time to start the coffee.Community Items 1.The community lights in the pool area shine upward toward all the condos, specifically the bedroom window and the porch. The bedroom has room-darkening curtains on one window, but the window to the porch lets in light from the community area. We put up a pressure rod with a sheet over it to reduce the light. 2.The pool is advertised as heated, but we arrived in mid-April and found the heat was already off; it was freezing cold. We met a lady looking for a pool warm enough for her baby. There were none to be found. St. Augustine turns off its pool heaters in mid-May. It would have been nice to have that here. We were never able to go into the water. 3.Please have someone patrol the pool area, as we saw underage children in the hot tub and a person with a glass bottle in one of them. The overflow drain around the pool needs to be cleaned. There is scum in it. 4.The advertised gym is bad. The gym is dirty and unkept. Most of the equipment is broken, and parts are missing.
