Great Place at the Beach

This property was great; plenty of space; great decks and views; comfy beds; great response from managers at Oversee when we had questions. We really enjoyed having the beach chairs and umbrella every day, and the bikes were great to have too. We would love to stay here again.

Location was perfect! House is a perfect location to the beach and everything else on 30A. We loved it there! If I were being picky, I’d only say that some dusting could be touched up, and some brighter lighting in the bathrooms. Other than that, it was great for our family!

Love the location!

We’ve previously stayed at this property, as well as the house next door. It’s a great location to restaurants and shoppes we enjoy. And you can’t beat the proximity to the beach! We appreciate the small, gated neighborhood for ease of coming and going, and security. The house is very clean! We did have an issue with a few “water bugs” in the family room area…..assuming it was due to some rain….and maybe needed a better seal around the entry door? Overall: wonderful!

Never visited this section of Emerald coast and so you have the long boardwalk to reach the beach plus the stair climb we weren’t expecting. Don’t bring a wagon to transport beach necessities! The house overall was nice but just needs a few tweaks for the value to equal the nightly rate.

Plus, it's literally steps away from private beach access! This spacious getaway offers all the amenities you need for a care-free experience, from coffee maker to bottle opener. We appreciated the new pieces of furniture and thoughtful touches that make this place unique. The location on 30-A is very convenient to everything we're looking for in a vacation rental. We were fortunate to get a great week of weather which allowed for bike riding, walking the beach, dining outdoors, and toasting the beautiful sunsets! The friendly folks at Oversee Rentals were a pleasure to work with. They made sure we had a smooth arrival and provided all the information we needed for a comfortable experience. We have stayed at Seashell Castle before and look forward to returning. Thanks for a great time!

UNBELIEVABLE VIEW - PRIVATE BEACH - 30-A

It is a house you don’t want to leave during your stay because of the location and view. It is neat and clean, which is extremely important for anybody staying in a rental house. The boardwalk is steps away to a private beach. It doesn’t get any better than that. Don’t want the beach today, then the pool is a must. The location of this house was perfect. Restaurants and coffee shop in walking distance. The Perfect Pig, across the street, was excellent. We hopped on the complimentary bikes and rode down to Seaside. It’s just a little over a mile and something you have to explore for yourself. Our favorite (like everyone else) was Great Southern in Seaside. We also rode a little further down the road to Grayton Beach. Had cocktails at The Red Bar, dinner at AJ’s. If you want to cook in, Publix is just down the road. Anything and everything is minutes away. We enjoyed our stay so much, we booked Seashell Castle for our summer vacation. We definitely look forward to coming back!

PARADISE - 30-A BEACH LIFE AT IT'S BEST!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in Seashell Castle in 2019 and decided to come back. 3 adults, 3 kids for 5 nights. Getting in off of 30-A couldn't be easier because the place is ON 30-A! It's 1.5 miles east of Seaside, just far enough to be away from the crowds. As soon as we arrived we were in a "vacation" state of mind. The house itself is pretty big. My son calls it the big yellow banana boat. I can't believe how much it has changed in 3 years. The owners decided to take advantage of the slow time the last couple years and go nuts with redecorating. You walk in and are right at home. A bedroom on the first floor. Thats behind an open kitchen with newer appliances, granite countertops, and a nice dining area with plenty of seating. The living room you see upon entry is where we sat waiting for the sun to come up, or watching movies at night on the big TV. The stairs lead up to 3 more bedrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The master bedroom is here, and it has this sweet balcony you can walk out on that wraps around half the house. All the bedrooms are spacious with 2 bathrooms on that second floor. A note here - my wife is a bathroom snob. She is the harshest of critics of what clean and tidy should be. To be able to say that these made "the cut" says something. The 3 kids must have run up and down those stairs 10,000 times. We let them have the third floor for TV and whatever kid things they would do. The third floor opens up to a deck on the roof with chairs. We would sit out there late at night watching the stars. The boardwalk was about 45 seconds from the front door, and only a few steps until you hit the sand. We loved the quiet private beach! It was the best of what the panhandle has for beach life. The location was perfect for us, having kids but not wanting to worry about them in a crowd. The pool was perfect for the little ones. It takes us a day to drive in from GA, but once you park your car, it's tough to leave. This is 30-A BEACH LIFE AT IT'S BEST!

Private beach with consummate beach cottage.

Great beach house as described in listing. Exceptional private beach access and beautiful beach with wonderful ocean views from balconies. Our family really enjoyed the pool but did spend most of our time on the beach which was great for two grandchildren ages 3 and almost 1. We cooked most all of our meals in the well equipped kitchen. We would definitely looked to stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property and location were fantastic. My only complaint is on the two beach chairs we were supposed to have daily. Each day we went to the beach their were chairs with every other house name or renters name in the community except ours. Our names or house name was never there so always felt like we didn’t have chairs. Thankfully there were always two without a name that we ended up taking but felt the names should of been on all of them. I also would recommend a crockpot and air fryer added to the property for ease with dinners. Other then that I felt the location was great, the house was a good size for our party of 9, was clean when we arrived! Would stay there again and highly recommend it
