„What an excellent property we found! 12 of us stayed for mum's 65th birthday. Welcomed to the smell of mulled wine & mince pies. Nicely decorated for Christmas throughout. Fantastic, peaceful location. Clean and comfortable with plenty of space for everyone. No need to take anything other than clothes, the property had everything needed. Owners were fantastic. Great communction beforehand. Would definitely return again.“

„The hotel is going through updating, the swimming pool was ok, the room was very dated, the bath panel was broken but all we wanted was a bed for 1 night. When we left one if the updated rooms was open and I must say they looked beautiful. When this hotel is finished I'm quite sure it will be of good standard.“

„Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Peter empfangen. Unser Zimmer war in einem separaten Gebäude, nett gemacht, groß und sauber. Der Hauseigene Garten ist eine Wohlfühloase. Morgens bekamen wir ein tolles Frühstück nach Wunsch serviert. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es ausreichend. Und wer sich in dieses Örtchen verirrt, hat es zu Alton Towers nicht weit. Essensmöglichkeiten gibt es in Gehweite.“

„This hotel bears no resemblance to the images. The restaurant is closed and the bar poorly stocked I was recommended to go out. The only food offering was Mini Cheddars. The room's TV did not work, and it was not clean. Part used complimentary shower gel was available however. The door handle to the room came off in my hand. Parking was complimentary but there were no signs to indicate this so I parted with £12 before finding out. Yes, this hotel is cheap, but unless you are desperate, I would ...

„Nice clean room. Breakfast was excellent. Parking was easy and free. We stayed in a standard room which wasn’t accessible so watch for that when booking.“

Outside next to little shop. Traffic island outside meant couldnt park outside and single line. Area around property made us feel unsafe- wasnt the best.“

On arrival, the oven and hob were visibly dirty with grease and residue, and the kitchen overall did not appear to have been properly cleaned. There was no bin provided anywhere in the property, only loose bin bags left for guests to manage waste themselves. The bathroom showed visible mould around the shower area. „Filty from the entrance to the kitchen and toilet. I coukd not have a shower or use the kitchen. The room is fine. The advert says private bathroom but it was shared. I had to go downstairs to the back of the kitchen to get to the toilet. Wont come back. “
