« Lovely house with a lot of charm and tons of space. The house is very old, so it has its quirks and signs of age, but it was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The host was very friendly and accommodating. Horseback riding on the property was also great bonus! »

Lots of decor, hence the forced insurance which I’ve never encountered before. Owners seem to be far right based on signs and decor. »

« Kitchen was great and views from the house were lovely. The property was not properly “opened” for summer. There was broken glass all over the entry path and deck from a broken window in the winter. I informed the owner who apologized but didn’t come to clean it up. Leaves were everywhere and it looked like nobody had stayed there in a while. The inside was great. No complaints there. The owner provided propane for the grill and fire place. « We really enjoyed our stay in this Civil War era home. Very clean with plenty of towels and soaps. It had a good location in Sharpsburg. We walked to the bakery (twice), the ice cream shop and the library. Easy access to the Antietam Battlefield. Appliances worked as expected. We have stayed in numerous period homes and this home was by far the best equipped for preparing meals in the kitchen. Wi-Fi was very good and strong throughout the home. Great place to stay in Sharpsburg. »
