« This property was perfect for our family reunion, in conjunction with a wedding in Middleburg. The house was interestingly rambling, and had perfect spaces for everyone who came. The grounds, garden, and swimming pool were cherries on top! It was the perfect setting for a large gathering, with plenty of spaces for different activities and conversations. Such a unique property! »

« This is a great property right in the heart of Gettysburg. Perfect for a long weekend. Very convenient to the battlefield and within walking distance of downtown. While it's an older home, it is very well maintained and nicely furnished. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evening after walking back form dinner. Would definitely recommend. »

« The house was excellent - just as described. It was spacious, comfortable and gave us the historic feel we were looking for in the heart of Gettysburg. Location was ideal allowing easy walks to the Gettysburg circle, the battlefield and many options for dining / shopping. We enjoyed it immensely and would not hesitate to go back to the Barclay House in the future. »

« A perfect location in Frederick. The Carroll Creek Canal is right behind the house and is beautifull! Aaron gave us excellent recommendations as to where to visit and eat. The house is older but clean, tidy and comfortable. We did use the kitchen to cook and gave Aaron a few pointers to improve what he had for utensils. Overall, I would come back again. Thanks Aaron »

« The tiny house is exactly as described. Its small, clean, cozy and comfortable. The location right on the river is fantastic. Being able to have a fire right by the water each night was such a plus. In better weather would be a great put in for canoeing, kataking. Very close many historic sights, unique shops, and outdoor activities. The hosts are very thoughtful, kind and responsive. We will be staying again!! »
